Marlene (Ringstone) Taft, wife of the late Noel R. Taft, daughter of the late George and Esther (Bilmon) Ringstone, peacefully passed away Saturday, March 4th, 2023, with family members around her.
Marlene worked at Glastonbury Bank & Trust for many years as their telephone operator. Marlene was active for many years with Eastern Star, and Rainbow Girls. She enjoyed doing the crossword puzzle, while having her morning coffee. She was a reader of many books. She liked to watch the Game Show Channel and HGTV. She would take short walks with her son or daughter by her side. She also enjoyed sitting by the vegetable garden and always counted all tomatoes.
Marlene leaves behind her son David Taft, daughter and son-in-law Shari and Rob Hennequin, Jr., and several nieces and nephews.
There are no calling hours. A private graveside service will be held at East Cemetery for her family. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Association or an animal rescue of your choice.
