Tuesday, May 28, 2019Warmth, laughter, and sports talk.... Don was a man’s man who was always fun to be around. I grew up best friends with Don’s oldest son, Eddie. Don and June provided a loving home, always present for us kids to grab a hot meal, watch the ballgame, and play ball in the backyard. Don went to all the ballgames, always offering an encouraging word to us kids with a wisecrack about the umpires or refs, delivered with a twinkle in his eye. A true Manchester “townie,” Don loved Leber Field and stayed up on town goings ons. His character is evident in his legacy of a long marriage and raising two gentlemen sons. Mike
