I am so deeply saddened to hear of Claire's passing. When I first joined the faculty at Manchester High School, Claire and I were roommates, and her support and guidance in those early years were so important to me. More than just colleagues, we became friends, and I have the most wonderful memories of MHS English Department gatherings at Claire's house. When I became Department Chair in 2015, she sent me the loveliest card -- something I will always treasure. Even though I hadn't seen Claire in recent years, I have missed her and I will always remember her as a great friend and mentor. My thoughts are with Claire's family at this sad time. -- Kelly Cecchini
