I too was taught by Fr. Ed at St. John Kanty Prep. After loosing touch for many years I had the good fortune to once again reacquaint with Fr. Ed about 7 years ago and have kept in touch since. Glad I did. I never hung up the phone without feeling better for having spoken with him. He was a credit to the Vincentian order, the Teaching profession and mankind in general. He will be missed.
With Sincerest Condolences and Kindest Regards,

Dear Family of Fr. Ed -
Please accept the condolences and prayers of my family at this time of human sorrow and supernatural rejoicing. Fr. Ed taught me and guided me and my brothers at Kanty, spiritually and emotionally supported my family when my mother died, and was always there for us when we needed him. Please know he's in our prayers now.... and in the care of the Blessed Mother.
Serdeczna Matko, Opiekunko ludzi,
Niech Cię płacz sierot do litości wzbudzi!
Wygnańcy Ewy, do Ciebie wołamy:
Requiescat in pace. Amen.
