Don, what an extraordinary life your father led. I know the days ahead will be difficult for you and your mother, loved ones, and the many friends and former students whom your dad influenced in his life as an educator, husband, father, gardener, cook, sports lover, Christian...and the list goes on. But a man like this leaves a legacy of good memories, blessing, and joy in his wake that you and all who cherished him will enjoy forever.
Having served as your supervisor during your first 12 years at Capital, I can see from this beautiful obituary how you came by your teaching skills and work ethic. You had a remarkable role model!
