Ronald A. Kaminski, 90, of South Windsor, passed away peacefully at home after a long, courageous battle with cancer, surrounded by his family on Thursday, December 1st, 2022. Son of the late Andrew and Charlotte (Stepanowicz) Kaminski, he was born in Hartford, CT in 1932.
Ron was a Veteran of the United States Army and upon honorable discharge, he returned to complete his Engineering degree at UConn. Soon after college, he met the love of his life, Connie, on a blind date. They would spend their lives raising three girls and traveling extensively. Ron and Connie were committed to their weekly bowling league and supported the UCONN Women’s and Men’s basketball teams as season ticket holders.
The majority of his professional career was spent with Partition’s Inc. of East Hartford as a Mechanical Engineer. In his leisure time, Ron enjoyed many activities including fishing, golfing, and Yankee Baseball.
Besides his wife, Ron is survived by his daughters, Lynn Kaminski Gallant (John), and Sue Kaminski Jucker (Kerry Eisenlau); his son-in-law, Mitch Kaminski; his grandchildren; Jordan Gallant, Devin Gallant, and Rhys Kaminski; his sister Barbara Goldberg; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. He was predeceased by his brother Andrew Kaminski, and his daughter, Karen Kaminski.

Relatives and friends may call upon the John F. Tierney Funeral Home, 219 West Center St. in Manchester, on Sunday, December 11th from 2pm to 5pm with words of remembrance to be shared at 5pm.
