I first met Carole when I transitioned into a new role in the company where I'd already worked for 20 years. She'd had a great relationship with my predecessor, and my predecessor told me that if I was confused about anything, just call Carole. Getting to know Carole over the years, working with her, and enjoying her unique sense of humor was always a delight. We shared many laughs and stories and she helped me with lots of projects over the years. When we discovered our mutual love of placing a bet, she became my "bookie Becker", always making sure I had my bet in on the triple crown horse races and the Super Bowl. We shared a very memorable evening at Mohegan Sun attending the Eagles concert, and I always loved being one of her "elves" when she worked on the Y-Us holiday project. She was a bright light, a great friend and a force of nature. Rest in peace my friend, and much love to your family.

I met Carole when I joined BNI and I remember thinking this woman had a great sense of humor. I remember going to BNI’s Christmas party and she was known as Christmas Carole there which was very fitting. Eventually we got to be good friends and she made me laugh even harder. She invited me to meet her at Mohegan Sun and we shared lunch and talked for a couple of hours. That trip to Mohegan would be the first of many. She continued to make me laugh and told me she hated to pay full price for anything and loved that she got free cruises, shows and food from Mohegan (another thing we have in common). One day she told me all about her life including some difficult times which was only one of a few times she was serious. I later joined BRG through the Chamber when Carole told me about it and asked me to meet her there and I saw how she made that group laugh and at the end of the meeting we would ‘tell it to Carole’ I sure am going to miss that.
When she told me she had cancer and she was going to fight it, I then saw how strong she really was. I will miss you my friend but can assure you our time together and the laughs we shared will not be forgotten. RIP “Christmas Carole”

I am so saddened by the loss of Carol. She brought laughter and great stories to the Friday BRG and Tell It To Carole has become legendary. As Carole herself would have told you, her customer service was second to none and she was right! She helped Journey Found with our printing projects for as long as possible. I share the same birthday as Carole. If I bring half the laughter to the world that she did, then I will consider my life well lived.
