Belated sympathy for the loss of your beloced husband & Dad. I worked with Victor at Fairfield Hills & CVH. He always was a happy go lucky guy, coming over with a big smile, with patients that I had to xray. He would always be helping me in the room, whenever a patient acted up . He was calm but stern warning to them to behave themselves. Most of the patients, as well as his co workers, always liked him & enjoyed being around him. We had some interesting conversations too throughout the years . Victor was so proud of his family & we would talk about our families since his son was about the age of mine. May special memories help comfort you & bring you peace. Victor will be missed by so many & in our hearts forever. Irene

Hi my deepest condolences to his kids family and friends. I had the pleasure to work with this wonderful genuine humble man. Victor always mind his business
he trained alot of staff over the years including myself.
Cvh has alot difficult, challenging ,units the mostly known disliked was Woodward building where nit many enjoyed working. Victor would be at work faithfully every day at 6am on this unit assisting bathing, dressing the most challenging elderly patients. How he treated them by being gentle loving charismatic was a lost words for this wonderful caring man. Victor will be missed by many who truly knew him worked with him. Rest in peace my friend and Tock those heavens until we meet again.

I'm proud to say that Victor was my best friend and has been for over forty years. Vic was someone you could always talk to because he listened and always provided thoughtful and valuable responses. Vic would drop everything and drive anywhere to help anybody out if needed. Vic was a character no doubt but he was a great friend who was kind, carefree and always fun to be with. Vic certainly lived his life to the fullest especially his retirement years. Our days of fishing, card games, softball, touch league football, casino trips and especially golf will always be remembered as part our truly enjoyable friendship. It's sad how Vic's time with us ended and this has been a very emotional time for me but I'll never forget you my buddy.
Love You Brother

What is a brother? Love, kindness, friendship. My brother, Victor, was all those things. He was my friend, my confidant, my biggest defender. I cannot express how much I loved him. He was always there for me and our family in a time of need. On a moment’s notice he would drive to Miami from Connecticut.
He and I never, never had a fight or disagreement (if you can believe that!) since childhood. He was my older brother and was always protective of me. I always told him my “problems” and he would give me brotherly advice. One of the last things he told me was “You’re the one in the family everyone should emulate.” That touched me so much.
I loved being around him; he was so easygoing. He cooked for us, laughed with us, rode bikes with us, hung out with us. He never asked for anything. He was generous and kind. (He was also quite the storyteller and did tend to embellish a bit lol).
When he was in Florida this past winter, he was ready to go home after being here for over 3 ½ months but stayed so he could be here for my birthday the last day of February. He left on my birthday. I was so sad when he left. He said, “I’ll be back. Get used to me coming here twice a year! I’ll be back in September.” I never dreamed he would be gone just 4 ½ months later.
My heart is broken. I love you, Victor. I was so blessed to have you in my life. I know you’re with our sister Mary and Dad now.
