To those who knew and loved Marianna...
While it is a given that I have not seen Marianna in some while, I am overcome with profound sadness learning of her passing. She was a co-worker of mine at the Second Chance Shop in Glastonbury where as dedicated volunteers we spent many hours sharing in supporting this charity. Marianna left a deep footprint on my being. In later times we entered a time of our lives that interrupted the relationship we had known. I have often thought about her, wondering...and now I feel my sadness intensify as the light she emitted to all has ceased to be. It is my hope her loved ones will always recall her with tenderness...she was a very kind, understanding, friendly and giving person. The Second Chance benefited greatly and I am proud and most complimented to say that my life was enhanced by her presence. Be gentle as you mourn and feel gratitude for all the wonderful years you had with Marianna in your world...Indeed, she was a gift! My heartfelt sympathy to all. Jerry Dean
