All I know is if I could have Virgil as my second farther I would loved him that much he was so kind and helpful when it came to bowling he was with me when I bowled my highest game of 290 wish I could of been there for the family but was out of town at the time God bless you Virgil RIP.

I was saddened to hear that your dad had passed. My condolences to all of you. Uncle Virgil was kind and caring. I appreciated him taking the time to stop in and check on my aunt after my dad passed. She was so grateful and would speak of his visit for days after. What I will remember most about your dad is his SMILE. His smile could light up a room.
I hope you take comfort in knowing that he is with your mom smiling down on all of you.

To my dear cousins,
Virgil, Regina, Reggie, and Cheryl. The passing of my uncle's soul to his next experience came as such a shock; although he reached an age that most of us can only hope for.
My prayer and blessing to all of you; is that you be surrounded by the love and light that was the continence of Uncle Virgil's being. I know it is not easy, but may his memories bring a smile to your heart and mind that you knew your dad in a way all the world never did
.

He was the last of the New York Griffin family that moved from Georgia. While I share your grief of his passing, I salute you with the responsibility of his loving legacy which you have put forth in your children and grandchildren. May we never forget!
