Jeff was an incredible person and had an incredible heart. I have learned so much from him over the years both professionally and personally. In many ways, I wish I was more like Jeff. I admire Jeff and always will. He would always show us he cared and he was willing to listen. He was compassionate and it always showed. I went through some personal issues recently and I spoke with Jeff about them and he was so supportive. Soon after He would text just to make sure I was okay. He really cared and it felt good to know that he did.
If things got hard at work he was there for all of us to talk with and he would always be fair. He was actually willing to take time to listen and see all sides. He wouldn’t just tell me what I wanted to hear that’s for sure, but he also took the time to explain things and or teach me how, or helped me understand why. At the same time, if you had a valid point he was fair enough to acknowledge that and not just shut you down. He wouldn’t just listen, he would hear you. . He was truly an incredible leader, hands down one of the best leaders I’ve ever know. I am going to miss him.

Jeff was my leader, my boss, my brother and my friend. We've worked together for many many years and I will miss his terribly. Jeff balanced me and taught me so much. I am a better person having know him and I will always remember his smile and his quiet understanding when I would lose my cool. Jeff would always say "move on" and I would laugh. Jeff was the best by far DM I ever had. He went out on a limb to hire me back at HPC after I left and the job didn’t go like expected. He was there for me as a friend and as a boss when I went though my own medical battles and I will always remember him for that. I will also remember no matter how mad he was at me he was trying to yell and scold me to do better but he said with a slight smile so I knew he believed in me. I am so sorry for your loss. He was a great mentor and a better friend.
