Martha was such an important member of the Manchester Women’s Club. She was a strong supporter of her community. I will miss her emails, her stories and her friendship.
I'm very sorry to hear of Marti's passing. What a complete shame! That woman loved life. Marti and I were in the Class of 1971 together at Canisteo Central High School. We had such a great class! So many of us attended all our reunions, including Marti and it was like we had never left Canisteo. We all just fell back together as good friends. We just had our 50th reunion and although Marti couldn't attend this one because of her Mom's health, we all missed her and we knew she was there in spirit. Even Jim attended some of our reunions and we could tell Marti had made the correct choice when she married him. My sympathies to Jim and all the family members. Marti will be missed. I always loved this photo of Marti at our 40th reunion back in 2011. We had another "Marti" in our class and this photo of the two of them just shows the kind of pizzaz and fun-loving personality she had.
I am so sad seeing this. I’m so very sorry for your loss. I’ve known Martha since our childhood days. My mom and her mom were childhood friends & I remember going to their house often. Sending my prayers and my condolences to her family & friends.
